At our Yeshiva farmstead, students grow vibrant produce, craft cheeses, milk cows, and harvest honey, gaining skills that stretch beyond the fields. Through markets, deliveries, and partnerships, they master logistics, teamwork, and service. We’re working to split profits three ways: one-third for parents to ease family costs, one-third for the school to enhance programs, and one-third for students to reward their efforts. The profits are not guaranteed yet as we get it all up and running, but every sale still teaches responsibility, community, and the value of hard work.
Our Yeshivastead is where students dig into more than just soil—they grow vibrant produce, craft cheeses, milk cows, and harvest honey. These hands-on tasks teach them skills that reach far beyond the fields, blending tradition with practical know-how. It’s a living classroom where every plant and product shapes their growth.
Selling through farmers’ markets, deliveries, and partnerships, students learn the ropes of logistics, teamwork, and serving the community. They’re not just moving goods—they’re building character, mastering planning, and connecting with others. Each sale is a step toward understanding responsibility and the impact of their labor.
We’re setting up a plan to split profits three ways: one-third for parents to ease tuition costs, one-third for the school to boost programs, and one-third for students to reward their work. The profits aren’t guaranteed yet as we get everything running, but the process still fuels lessons in community, fairness, and the value of effort.
